Hello Sheela,

Thanks for the suggestion, indeed is much better to use AUI and I will change all to AUI sooner o latter, also, you probably noticed that in the edit.jsp and editxxxxxx.jsp tables are used, that has to change also. The thing is that actually I am involved in changing the permission layer and in provide workflow capabilities to XMLPF with the help of a friend Juan Gonzalez P.

Can you contribute a little in the AUI part? It would be fairly easy if you have AUI usage knowledge.

First all i want give thanks to all the team for this work, this project is very interesting.

I want to help with the AUI layer, you have any repository to see the last build ?

Which is the workflow if somebody want to contrib to the project have any guidelines ?

I hope soon help to change XMLPortletfactory to AUI, we are using this for a project and the person is working with template is very annoyed because not use Alloy emoticon

Hola Alexander,

Bienvenido al proyecto, actually contributions will follow any path that works for you. Let me suggest :

Path A./
1.- Get templates from source code from SourceForge.net SVN
2.- Get templates from source code on your XMLPortletFactory local installation (resources folder).
3.- Make the changes to support AUI and test them. (If they can be for 6.1.x and 6.0.x great)
4.- Email (jack.a.rider at xmlportletfactory.org) or post them in forums.
5.- I will upgrade SVN with your changes and include them in next version.

Path B./

1.- Get a portlet source code generated by XMLPortletFactory and make all changes you need to get AUI working.
2.- Send me the xml definition file, and the modified code (so I can trace the changes made)
3.- I will upgrade the templates and upload to SVN and include them in next version.

If you use path B, will be desirable you use one of the examples on the web, because I already know them, or use a not to complicated xml definition.

Be carefull if you get source code from SVN, is a working copy that is not tested on all scenarios.
If you have to choose to work with 6.0.x or 6.1.x, go for 6.1.x, there are features only available on last version.
