Collaborative Documentation

Hi Jack! Just created my account here....first of all AWESOME JOB! emoticon

I'd like to propose a more collaborative and open source - style documentation section in the project web. What about a Wiki page where we can all start writing some articles, how-tos, FAQs... that way we could all start contributing to the project more easily.

Do you agree?

The first articles I would like to write/read is "How to contribute to the project" and "How to set up a development environment to improve XMLPF"

I wait for your response! emoticon
Regards!
Juan

Hello Juan,

Thank very much for the suggestion, I assure you that this weekend I prepare everything (I have to learn how Wiki pages work emoticon ) and get back to you.

Indeed, Liferay uses it on his website and is of great utility and ease of use, "How tos" I put in Documentation, try to go this way. I will translate them also to Wiki pages.

Saludos, Jack.

Hola Juan,

Thats it, we have a wiki area. A few minutes ago, I finished the set up of everything, I also copied some documentation to the area, and setup permissions etc. for users. Next week I will re-arrange documentation tab, to eliminate duplicates.

I have to say that the wiki portlet is IN-CRE-DI-BLE emoticon, is the first time I have used it, and was very easy, and very powerfull. With this tool will be much more easy to gestionate all documentation.

Thank you again for your suggestion, and feel free to participate.

Saludos, Jack.
