Firstly i want to thanks Jack for developing such a brillant tool & all the help provided through videos,mails which made me learn. Its a great job you are doing concentrating on the minute details.

So far i have seen how portlets are created through xmlpf. I am new to liferay i have read liferay-service-builder provides database connection. I want to know how it works.Where do we define database properties.

services.xml gives database name & its structure but do we connect to db.
