Chain master details

I see the capability exists to chain validation fields. Is there a similar capability to chain master details?

For example, suppose you have the following relationships:
Project - the master table; describes work projects
Goal - Each Project has a number of Goals
Task - Each Goal has a number of Tasks

If the management portlets for all three are placed on the same page, then selecting a Project will update the Goals and selecting a Goal will update the Tasks, which is all good. However if a new Project is selected the Goals list will be updated, but the Task list will keep displaying the Tasks related to the last Goal selected. This Task is unrelated to the newly selected Project, so that's potentially confusing.

It would be ideal if when a different Project was selected the Goal list would update (as it does) AND the Task list would be reset to the state where no Goal is selected.

Hola Deb,

I am not completely sure, but I think a contributor already fixed this, along with an improvement on deleting detail rows when master row is deleted. I will check and get back in a few days.

Next version is going to have many enhancements, thanks to you all.

Saludos, Jack.
