<restrictBy> tag is defined inside <classDef> and can have one or all of <companyId>, <groupId> and <userId>. As of today you might want to use permissions feature to restrict access to users depending on roles.
Any way if you need information on tags, all definitions are in file xmlportlet.xsd. Find attached a copy of the xml file definitions.
We are working now on the next release of XMLPortletFactory, were you will be able to define calculated fields, or conect to Liferay’s social activities and Assets, please follow @xmlpf on twitter for news.

liferay has sturcktur and group somekind of organisation strucktur.
my ide just like this.
i have 4 level of orgranisation. and i can entry parent and the children and my users also can select with level are they wanted to pick up.
(just like chain and filter)
indeed the liferay has this kind of features, but i just need this in portlet becouse 90% of my work are nicely done with your xmlportletfactory.
